Adding Flash Animation to your Volusion Store

The easiest  way to add a Flash animation to your pages is to use the HTML  Editor. This is available on the Site Content articles and in many of the description fields on the Product and Category pages. To use it (in this example on a product's Extended Information tab):

1. Click Inventory > Product.
2. Click on the ID of the Product to which you want to add the Flash animation.
3. Scroll down to the Product Description section and click on the HTML link beneath Extended Information.
4. Click on the Flash icon in the top menu row of the Easy Editor box.
5. Click on the folder icon next to the Source text box.
6. If you have loaded your flash file into the Assets directory you can select it now. Otherwise click Browse, navigate to the file and click Upload.
7. Enter the height and width of the file and adjust the other settings as appropriate. For example, you may want your animation to just play once rather than loop indefinitely.
8. Click Apply.
9. Click the Copy HTML to parent window button.
10. The code will now be displayed in the Extended Information field.
11. Click Save and view your product page to check the animation.
